With Omotesando Koffee opening in Downtown Gallery this July, coffee drinkers will soon have a new go-to café for their caffeine fix.
The Japanese café first started as a pop-up store at a small Japanese house in Omotesando’s residential area, before becoming a beloved destination amongst both locals and tourists. Taking the Omotesando Koffee brand beyond Japan has long been a fantasy of owner Eiichi Kunitomo, and has finally come to fruition through a partnership with Russell Stradmoor, director and franchising owner, to open the concepts in Hong Kong and now Singapore.
Omotesando Koffee will be located in The Work Project Downtown, #04-09 at Downtown Gallery.
The methodology behind the shop’s magic lies in two things: its signature cube-framed bar housing their baristas, and their precise approach to brewing coffee. Beans from Melbourne will be roasted in Kyoto by the Ogawa Coffee Roasters, with each blend following specific steps for brewing to bring out the best flavours. Also on the menu: Omotesando Koffee’s signature cube-shaped custard cake along with new items exclusive to Omotesando Koffee Singapore.
Omotesando Koffee Singapore will be partnering and will be co-located with The Work Project – Singapore’s largest co-working space yet, covering over 20,000 sq ft on the fourth floor of Downtown Gallery.
Come July, coffee lovers will be able to pop by Omotesando Koffee at #04-09 for a fresh cup of Joe.
